January Favorites of my blog and other things in life!

As always, I like to give you the link to my top posts of January. I can’t believe it’s always February! Crazy, eh?

Anyway, here are the top posts of January if you’re a new follower or you just missed my post! Tsk, Tsk!

Top posts were:

When I look into the mirror

The Ant and the Farmer:Lessons from a 13 year-old child

New Year’s Eve and Day Drinking, food, games, sick, and football

My high standards for girls back in 3rd grade

Some of the great songs that I’ve added to my playlist are:

Tut Tut Child- Dance to it (Dubstep)

Tut Tut Child- Hot Pursuit  Kind of a weird name for an artist but whatever!

Atlas-Coldplay I know, kind of late but I love how it just builds up!

Irresestible-Fall Out Boy Really the only good song on the album

Derek Minor- Stranger (rap/hip-hop)

Derek Minor- Empire

Tobymac- Beyond Me

I saw The Maze Runner and I gotta say, I thought it was way better than The Hunger Games. I know, I’m horrible!

I also saw The Dawn of the Planet of Apes and I thought it was very well-done done! One of my favorite movies that came out in 2014. I love those kinds of movies! It wasn’t quite as good as the first one, which was so amazing!

I am now officially into the second semester and it’s very important that I get all A’s once again. Most people don’t show their grades but I’m proud of them. I spent so much time studying and doing extra assignments this year so I could definitely pass and I’m happy to say that I did amazing!

Honors English British Literature – 103%.  Last school year, I had three honors classes and it was so much work!! Ugh…but I passed it! I liked this class way more than the American Literature class.

Psychology- 103% Obviously, if I want to go into Psychology (Cognitive Science most specifically) I need to do well in this class and I did. Learned some things that I hadn’t before, which was cool!

Pre-Calculas/Trigonometry- 101%. This class was pretty easy…couple of new things that took a while to learn but I managed!

Forensic Science- 99% I know, kind of a downer when you see all of those great grades above, right? 😛 This was definitely a harder class (The teacher didn’t do the best might I add) but it was a lot of interesting things to learn about!

Physics-98% Hardest class of the school year! Not the kind of science that I love! I don’t mind math but it gets to be a little too much and it feels like I’m taking another math class, which is quite boring! The only reason that I escaped is that the teacher gave multiple chances to do extra work! Okay, maybe not just because of that but my grade would have definitely not been as good!

Spanish 2- 97% It’s interesting to learn another language although who really needs it when there are so many apps that can tell you what the other person is saying (just hold your phone up to the person) …but still, it is interesting! The teacher is absolutely horrible because she thinks she’s good at teaching but she isn’t…

My aunt and uncle surprised me with a doughnut…my favorite, a Snickers doughnut. Who would have thought that you could combine dough with Snickers and magically get a Snickers doughnut. That’s real power! But like with anything, “Power comes responsibility” and this much responsibility of only eating one big doughnut is a must since it is so rich!

  1. To Live With All My Might

Congratulations on your great grades! Exams can be so stressful but it’s a relief when they’re finally over. I’ve got to disagree with you about Fall Out Boy’s new album though – Irresistible is actually my least favorite song on Fall Out Boy’s new album. I love Novocaine and American Beauty/American Psycho, though. (Maybe it’s just that I love Fall Out Boy. I think that’s it. ;))

    • Thank you! Yes, always love when those tough tests are over! The reason why most of those songs weren’t good was because their last album was so good! The Mightly Fall, The Phoenix, Death Valley, and My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark.
