Can you dig a better soundtrack than “Can You Dig It?” on Iron Man 3 soundtrack?

Absolutely love this song!!! The movie was one of the best ever – funniest movies and with this closing the movie and into the credits, it just makes my life feel…feel so fulfilled!

Got me dancing like:

Anybody else like this song? Sometimes it’s best to let the orchestra end the movie instead of some other pop artist ending it with a song that they already recorded.

What is the best and tastiest way to get 500 calories back? I’m really struggling…who knew this was harder than having the motivation to actually jog over 5 miles (not including my daily walking).

Help End the Violence!!!!!!!!:Humor…I repeat just humor

This post isn’t necessarily supposed to be making fun of vegetarians because I think eating vegetables and all is great… *says under my breath* more meat for me then! However, I don’t think it’s healthy or good to eat just vegetables.  There are better and tastier ways for getting your protein. Why treat your taste buds so badly?

132551-Ive-just-been-cutting-onions-g-ioOG

The main point that I’m trying to make (using my humor) is that there is violence toward vegetables. Just think about it! Zucchini’s are squashed. Peas are split! We string celery off! We pop corn. Potatoes are mashed! The only vegetable that can protect itself are onions…because when you try to cut them, *swipes tear off face* you start to cry! If you didn’t get that humor, I don’t know about you!

I’m set for when I’m not with my parents cooking or not on a meal-plan

You don’t want to be eating unhealthy food every day when you’re not on a meal plan in college or your mommy mother isn’t cooking for you. You can’t just combine a whole bunch of foods and call it, “Great!”

anigif_enhanced-buzz-7107-1358976503-0

For 1. I don’t even like spaghetti (read my “about page” please). 2. Does he really have to add sugar (maple syrup and candy) to it as well! I wouldn’t call this comedy/humor. This is what I imagine Hell being like for me – jumping in my seat up and down because I’m forced to eat this pig slop gross food for eternity. Another reason why I’m not an actor or I might have to do things like this!

saled

So you’re like, how much talent does it take to make a really good salad? It takes a lot of energy to make a salad like this so perfect! Perfect slices (not too big or small) for the cucumbers. Just enough salad dressing    (whether ranch or Caesar dressing). Not too many croutons so others don’t get too annoyed and look at you with disgust by the very annoying CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP! The lettuce can’t be bitter or…people will be bitter about it, duh!  Not too much cheese or it will be too cheesy…yeah, that’s a pretty cheesy statement there as well. Anyway, I take great pride in my salads. I take pride in a lot of things that I cook (remind you that I’m an 18 year-old guy). How many guys my age can actually cook?

I have a very famous chicken noodle soup that I make as well! I make some of the best sandwiches that rival Subway as well. I know perfectly well how to cook a nice juicy steak! I know how to grill as well! There’s other things as well…it’s not cooking is that hard anyway! Read the instructions and you’ll be fine! Practice, practice, practice! One of my most famous lines that I always say to people is “watch and learn.” I use that idea to learn many things or when someone says to me ignorantly, “How do you do that” pointing at whatever I may be doing. “Watch and learn!”

…and the pretty boy opened his mouth and lost his chance!

So the other day I was visiting a college and competing in a scholarship competition (more on that later) but when there was a break at lunch time, I got to eat for FREE at the cafeteria and I heard some interesting conversations. I’m not the type who eaves-drops over other people’s conversations but when you’re so close and they are talking about something interesting, It would be weird to cover my ears.

So I guess there was this girl who was talking to her friends about some guy and I quote, “I just saw a like the most handsome guy ever. His smile is so oh, umm, like amazing! He looks so sweet! I was just about to make a move on him but guess what?” The other two girls shake their head. “He said something incredibly stupid. Ugh…I had high hopes for him but he failed me.” Lol! Hehehe!

I wonder if she had the guts to say this to his face??? I wonder if he would’ve said yes?

tumblr_lf45k5CB001qb5ddf

And honestly I’m like this! I mean really! He had an opportunity…why do some of the “best looking guys” have to be such idiots…waste of looks if you ask me!

anigif_enhanced-buzz-1136-1415314420-4

I guess this is what college is really all about! Guys trying to look the best but most of them are really idiots! For girls if they are smart, it’s all about waiting for a guy to say something to see if he’s a moron! Should be a lot of fun in college!! Looking forward to all of the drama 24/7. I’ll use my psychology to help the college social scene improve! I’ve already got plenty of ideas and who knows, I can maybe manipulate people to vote me for Student Body President…JUST THINK Of THE POWER!!! Muahahaha!

What I ate: Super Bowl Edition

So I live in the United States and I am a HUGE sports fan so the Super Bowl is always a fun time even when my team isn’t in the Super Bowl. For you guys who aren’t in the United States, my feeling of excitement is at the same excitement with you Soccer fans in South America or wherever you live. My top two teams in the NFL are Seahawks and Green Bay. Of course, Green Bay was beat my the Seahawks in the NFC Championship so it was the Seahawks against New England and they lost in the worst way – Why didn’t they run!

Even though the loss just killed me, the food was awesome!!! Very typical football kind of food and drinks.

Coca-cola fan here so I had to have two bottles of that drink.

Learning about INTJ personalities:Part 1

You ever take those personalities tests? Well, I’ve taken many of those tests and I’ve come up with an INTJ personality pretty much every single time these last couple of years. Sometimes the percentage of the I, N, T, J changes- the changes can be different each day depending on what your “feelings”…yes, I am using that word even though I don’t have a “F” in my personality. I do still having feelings but my thinking is usually dominant over it.

Anyway, the last time I took the test my introvert was at a percentage of 61% to be exact. Now, this number might be seem high and it is but if I’m with someone that I’m comfortable with being around, that will change greatly and I will act like any other extrovert…maybe even more. The INTJ personality is known as the most extroverted type of introverts because it’s all about trust and respect. If I trust or respect you, then I’ll immediately change my attitude.

Even though I’m incredibly observant (which is the S in the personality) I’m always labeled as N. N is  Intuitive. I am only at 16% though.

Thinking is at 31%. In my case and with many other people with my personality, you will find a common thread most of the time. A person with my personality in the past might and probably was more of a F, but then something happened in their life that caused them to not trust their feelings – whether there was a heartbreak…basically their feelings led them astray and hurt them. We don’t like to become vulnerable to our feelings (even though we will always have them) but we use our thinking ability as a tool to see if say, a person really loves us. If they don’t, then we don’t deal with them because we do not want to go through that pain again. I can’t tell you how many times before my personality really morphed in the personality that I have now that my feelings misguided me into thinking that people who said that they loved me really didn’t.  The “T” in our personality is very unique because it is different than other “T” personalities I know. They don’t come up with the conclusion to use their thinking ability over feelings because of that reason.

Judging is at 28%. My kind of judging is quite different than the judging you would think. It’s more like over analyzing a person and see what I can tell about them. I never judge a person unless I see all of the facts. Also, judging also means that I am quite decisive and I am not the kind of person to break rules if I find those rules to be logical and put in place to help people.

There’s always two types of the same personality whether it’s assertive or turbulent. I am 39% assertive and this means that I am generally calm, relaxed, and emotionally stable. I used to be a lot more turbulent when I was younger but I learned to control myself and any good INTJ will NEED… no MUST control themselves. I always like to say that there is nothing worse than a turbulent INTJ. Like I said before, you don’t just become this personality when you are born (although I do believe there is some genetics that are involved) but you mostly become this personality because of past experiences…bad experiences like I said before. INTJ’s are known as not very emotional people but they are if they admit it. Our emotions seem to be amplified  with the big hurts of life. So you have to realize, an INTJ person usually has a lot of pain and hate, which makes them so dangerous in some ways with people who made them angry.

I’m sorry but these people are Morons: Jimmy Kimmel

How strong are your passwords? That’s a big question in today’s world. I mean, if it’s a really good hacker, he’ll probably be able to hack in your information no matter what you have as your password. However, you just don’t want any ordinary people to know your password, right? At least that’s what I think. People are so worried about privacy these days but they give a huge amount of information about themselves on social media and sometimes in person. Being a hacker has got to be easiest job these days… no disrespect to the grocery store bagger. I’m no hacker but I’ve learned a lot of information about other people and they just tell me… well, that’s none of your business like it’s none of mine!

Anyway, you might have seen this video from Jimmy Jimmel or not but this is a valuable lesson for all of us.

clever

So I have two questions for you.

Do people actually have brains?

What is your password?

New Year’s Eve and Day-drinking, food, games, sick, and football

First of all, welcome to 2015 a day or two late depending on where you live!!!!

NEW YEARS EVE

I went over to my uncle and aunt’s house to celebrate New Years Eve and my aunt’s birthday. I decided to be with family instead of going out and partying with friends and strangers who I don’t even know…to not risk drinking alcohol illegally and probably do something that I might regret. The strongest thing that I’ve ever tried is leaving out Martinelli’s for a long time to get hard. Honestly, I probably would never drink alcohol or especially beer because it doesn’t even look or smell good. Plus, I’d rather spend my money on Coke (the drink, not the drug.) Although, Coke is especially addicting for me. I’ve had so much Coke in the last week. Soft drinks are my kind of thing!

I honestly don’t have anything against people who drink alcohol. I don’t see the point but it’s ok. The problem is most people don’t know when to stop. The chemicals that go into your body are way stronger than you are. That’s a fact!! Anyone who says anything else about that, is a liar! Studies have proven that over and over! Check this out if you still disagree with me! http://pubs.niaaa.nih.gov/publications/aa63/aa63.htm

I’m not judgmental against people who drink just I think people are ignorant when they believe that drinking excessively won’t hurt them and most importantly hurt others! So people don’t think correctly and they become vulnerable to making dumb decisions. The reason why I’m so strong on this topic is because many people I know have died because they have either: 1. Not been strong enough to resist binge drinking and have killed themselves. 2. Some drunk person has killed someone somehow. I promised myself a long time ago that I would NEVER become subject to someone or something that would cause me to not think correctly or vulnerable. That would honestly become my worst nightmare – being subject to something else!

Anyway, we played many games like air hockey. I played my uncle twice and fairly beat him by a wide margin in the first game. He wanted to play again and I got my puck in his goal right when the timer went off. He said that the timer went off before the puck went all the way through and registered.

We also played a very fun game called Presidents. I got third place. For rules for this fun game go here:  http://www.pagat.com/climbing/president.html

When I was younger, I would only stay up until New York was midnight. I think I stayed up until 2:00 A.M. the next day this year.

NEW YEARS DAY

The next day I got up sick. I was so sick and tired! It was kind of miserable the whole day but I tried to have fun and watch football with family and play games. I actually had to sleep for part of the day just to feel better. The good thing is that I’m all better – one of those 24 hour colds I guess. The one good thing that happened on the first was the badgers won!!! They beat the Auburn Tigers in overtime. The kicker shanked the field-goal, which would have sent the game into the 2nd overtime. I sort of feel bad for the kicker but whatever…badgers won! I screamed so much in that game that my throat hurt more! So far, the SEC sucks in the bowls!

Oregon totally slaughtered Florida St. and Ohio st. beat Alabama. So it will be Ohio St. who has to face Oregon in the National Championship. That aught to be a great game!

I also had too much food. (I never seem to have trouble eating a lot of food on the 1st while I almost starve myself on Christmas and Thanksgiving). My younger cousin just finished reading the Percy Jackson books and wanted to watch the second movie. So we watched that and the movies are definitely not as good as the books.

What’d you do for New Years Eve and Day?

Steve

My high-standards for girls back in the 3rd grade

Well, it’s the new year and it’s always good to look back and see where you can improve. I’m going to look back in my life in 1st grade. I honestly had very high-standards for girls who I wanted to be in a relationship with. I was honestly WAY more extroverted back then then now. I was a bold one! Anyway, found this paper of what characteristics I would want in my girlfriend. My hand writing and grammar back then sucked so it’s going to be slightly hard for me to translate but I’ll try.

1. Foxy look!

2. Betwitching! WHAT was I thinking?? I wouldn’t want that now.

3. Alluring! “dimples and brunette hair are the best!”

4. Brilliant! “a Ph.D. wouldn’t be bad as well!”

5. Funny! “Can’t tell bad jokes! I get enough of that from my guy friends who talk about immature things like farts.”

6.  Love sports! “Has to be a fan of the Wisconsin badgers.” I think that kind of cuts the list a bit.

7.  Being original!

8. Doesn’t wear a bunch of various types of perfume. “bonus points to her if she smells like food because that always allures me even more to something or someone.” You know actually, there should be a perfume or  cologne for what Subway smells like because that ALWAYS smells good.

9.  Active! “Just doesn’t spend all the time sitting like a couch potato watching tv.”

10. Has a BIG heart!

What a list I have to say!

So to the girls out there, if you have all of these characteristics, please tell me! I’m still trying to find my “perfect soul mate.” Just kidding!

Enjoy the new year!

Steve

Don’t Whine or Be Eaten:What it really means to be put on the “Naughty List”

So I’m still getting the worse of the winter since it is still extremely cold and it’s gotten before freezing many nights but no…no snow at all. No sign of it at all so that’s kind of depressing.

There’s no point in ranting about the bitter cold with my friend who says ,” Suck it up you weenie.” I actually hate the heat more than the cold. I’d rather bundle up than take as many clothes off as possible. I honestly wasn’t really whining about the cold…I’m just writing this to make others (my readers) feel better about themselves and that they’re not alone. I think Santa will put me on the “nice list” for this.

CIMG5921

The glasses are of course for protection from the cold because my eyes seem to freeze… it’s a weird feeling! *shakes head wildly* I like to go around in public this way so NO ONE knows who I am and of course I don’t go to banks dressed this way…that might be a bit suspicious. Oh, BTW: don’t go robbing banks or “Santa Claws” (A.K.A. Krampus) will mark you on the naughty list and he’ll give you lumps of coal (if you haven’t been so naughty). If you’re really naughty, you’ll be put in a bag and he’ll kill and eat you!

Happy Dreams and Merry Christmas!

Steve

I need a break!

Great News: School and I have agreed to be apart for a while!

You know, I’m so excited because I have 6 more school days (not counting today). I get to take a nice break from school and enjoy it at its fullest! I get 17 days of tranquility…except my younger cousins who have so much energy are coming. I really do love them but after a while, I just can’t keep up with them. My boy cousin loves video games so maybe I’ll just let him sit and play video games for hours…no days!! Muahahaha!

Yeah, I do love to learn about various things but school’s been more boring than hard this year. I don’t know if that’s a good thing. Last year was just murder! I had some tough classes and I signed up for 3 honors classes. This year I have only one.

The last couple of years my teachers have given me big projects to do over the Christmas break (don’t you just hate that?) but not this year. I asked my English teacher yesterday if I had any big projects that I have to get done. She said, “Nope. You have no English assignments that you have to get done.” I then said, “Oh, great! Then I can relax and take it easy.” She then said which burst my “happiness bubble”, “Your big assignment is a week or so after you come back from break.” I then tried to hypnotize her and say that I didn’t have any assignments due at all…it didn’t work. What can I say, she and I are best friends when it comes to teacher friends.

I’ve been reading Hamlet for my English class and here’s something that I’ve realized if you take a multiple choice Hamlet quiz, the answer will most likely be something that’s disappointing or sad. For example, I took a quiz and I can’t remember the question but the answer was something like someone is insane.

Waitering, Eating Crow, and Continuing Christmas Traditions

So this past week I had nothing to do in the morning and afternoon so I helped out at my Church’s Woman’s Brunch. I was one of the waiters and I had one table of 8 people. I volunteered to do this so I didn’t get paid or get tips. However after I was done, I got to eat the leftover food, which was egg casserole, fruit, pastries, and drinks.

Talking about drinks, the people at my table loved to drink various drinks. About four of them were coffee alcoholics, two of them loved tea, and one of them wanted water constantly. I probably spent more time getting them drinks than food! I was happy that the other person couldn’t decide on what to drink…however that thought backfired on me since she told me to make coffee, and then when I made it and came back to her, she said she wanted tea instead. That made me mad but I was able to restrain myself from showing that emotion. So I made coffee again but kept that tea at hand… she then said, “Thank you,” and I left quickly to get some more food.

Who knows, I might decide to have a part-time job being a waiter.

Other than that, I was a pretty darn good waiter and I was told by them that I was “better” and more “handsome” than last years waiter at their table. I went all out in my looks as for my award for the “best waiter at the Brunch Award.” I of course gave it to myself.

CIMG5878

The rest of the day…how do I put it? Hmmm… was absolutely terrible. It was like Wisconsin didn’t even show up! I know that I predicted the Wisconsin Badgers to win and they got totally slaughtered 59-0. Even though it was brutal, I watched the entire game since I’m 100% Wisconsin fan.  I told all of my friends that Wisconsin was going to beat Ohio st. and they didn’t – so now I’m eating crow. I was in a terrible depression and I didn’t want to get out of bed. I am an extreme badger fan! I don’t know if you saw my profile pic but I have so many badger gear, that I have to put all of my gear in one place so I know where it is…it might as well be used!

CIMG5567

I thought it was funny to give him a belly since Wisconsin is known for its beer, cheese, and bratwursts.

This Christmas, I even asked my aunt and uncle (who give me all of the Christmas badger gear) to give me a badger scarf.

Since it’s Christmas, I think it’s good to post this picture as well.

Shouting “Rain, Rain go away – Snow come again!

What’s up with it only snowing once so far – that was just a tiny bit as well! The Christmas season without snow just doesn’t feel right. It’s been raining a lot but we need colder weather…it’s already cold but it needs to get colder. I know this might seem strange for me to say because of my other post (https://whatiliketodobysteve.wordpress.com/2014/11/16/its-been-freezing/) but I am ready to compensate having the weather be cold for snow!

At least for now, the only thing that I can do is look at pictures and videos from last year – You know, look at the good ol’ days when Nick Frost and the Mr. Cold Miser was around.

Very beautiful having snow on the tips of the tree branches!

CIMG3626

Kind of a cool night picture shot of the snow!

However, most of all I would love to have enough snow to build a snowman to jump into!

Do you guys have snow where you live?

Failed Attempt, Hunger Games, Chewbacca, Fact, and Sports

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to do an extra special post since I’m one follower over 60…thank goodness for that one person because now I can truthfullly say that I have more than 60 followers and be honest! *hands out flowers and chocolates to you* Hopefully, you’re not allergic to chocolate or flowers!

Anyway, this week was really terrible with school. I’m guessing that I got out of the rhythm of school last week because I was off with Thanksgiving. So I’m so sleepy! I need to sleep so I can think of how I’m going to write this. *Clicks Save Draft*

Well, I’m back and ready to write more! Honestly, I hate to just sleep for 1 hour because I always get more drowsy and “cranky” if you talk to my family.

Like I mentioned, above I found something really cool that you could try.

Okay, so I want you to you to close your eyes…wait, how are you going to remember what to do? Hmm…good thing I have another cool thing for you to try.

Let me just make sure you are able to do this activity! *reads the instructions* Umm…I guess you can’t do that either. This is a good reason not to look at wiki because those people just want to confuse you.

As you can see, I’m grasping at straws because school has drained my thoughts and life… so your journey through my life isn’t that interesting in this post.

Oh, I know! So I saw the new Hunger Games movie. I don’t really feel like writing a whole post about that but I’ll tell you my thoughts. The one thing that I love about the Hunger Games movies is that it pretty much sticks with the books. I thought the first movie of the Hunger Games was the best and the second book was my favorite to read. Great actors and actresses in the movie.  President Snow in my mind has stolen the show in every movie. I personally liked the second part of the book more than the first. I honestly hate that they split the movie in two parts.

I would give the movie 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

So I saw this picture on Facebook of Chewbacca and his family. You would think the always entertaining, funny, and handsome (for his kind I guess) could have a prettier wife. Like the Mohawk on his kid though!

dshdsjdhs

arsphotos.blogspot.com

It seems like he grew out his hair a little more than normal… maybe he participated in No-Shave November.

new picture of hair

I participated in the effort as well. Grew out a beard and I am so glad that I was able to shave it off. I also grew out my hair and a friend of mine said to have a small pony-tail. It was incredibly hard to get the rubber band on!

Random fact: Did you know that China has now officially surpassed the United States economics? The last time that the United States didn’t have the top economically was when President Ulysses Grant was president.

I would’ve done a section for sports posts but you know…people get really protective of their teams and I might be biased toward a team so I decided not to. However, this week in college football in the U.S. there are some really big games.

Instead of predicting a team to win based on their athleticism or experience for example, I’ll predict the team to win based on their mascot.

Saturday Night: ACC Championship Florida st. Seminoles vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Hmm… yellow jackets can be nasty at times but a person has to get stung many times to die. This tells me that Florida st. might have an injury on their team but they will win in the end.

Saturday afternoon: SEC Championship Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Missouri Tigers

So an elephant vs. a tiger. Tigers can be ferocious but it’s extremely hard for a tiger to take down an elephant. Close game but Alabama gets away from a win.

Saturday Night: Big Ten Championship Wisconsin Badgers vs. Ohio st. Buckeyes

Now, I’m a huge Wisconsin Badger fan so I don’t want to be bias at all. The definition of a buckeye according to the dictionary is “a North American tree or shrub related to the horse chestnut, with showy yellow, red, or white flowers.” That strikes fear in my soul so badly! Sorry, but that’s got to be the worst mascot out there! Wisconsin wins big! Plus, Ohio st. starting quarterback is injured so I’ll probably be right with my prediction.

Have a great weekend you guys!

Steve

Dedicated to Penguins!

So this morning I was looking at my stats and it’s always amazing to see who my audience is. My blog has reached at least one country in every continent except Antarctica. You know, I’m kind of hurt a bit. I thought I had a chance to get some scientist to look at my blog but nope…didn’t happen. However, I must say that this blog doesn’t show my “smarts.”

I thought maybe the scientist would at least teach the penguins how to use a computer. I mean that would be an incredible research project. Yeah, there’s “global warming” and the ice is melting but teaching penguins to do various things is important for the survival of our planet! 😛

As you’ve probably seen in my About Page, one of my things I must do on my bucket is go to Antarctica and hang out with the penguins. Why do I have this fascination with them you ask? I think if I was an animal, I would be a penguin. They seem to want to have fun! *Check* They seem adventurous! *Check* They like fish! *Check* They hate seals! *Check* The list continues on. Yes, I don’t really like the cold but with their fur I would stay warm.

I love olives and penguins! This is the best kind of food there could be. Quite artistic!

Another artistic thing that you could do is polish your nails by making a penguin.

Now, there is one thing for sure that scientists in Antarctica are doing for a penguin. Supposedly, there was a really shy penguin and scientists wanted to help the penguin out. So what do you do when you get a shy penguin? Any thoughts? The answer is simple – build a robotic penguin to spy and be with that penguin. Here’s the photo. All rights go to BBC Click and NBC News. Anyone see the movie, March of the Penguins? I’ve seen that movie 4 times. Happy Feet was the dumbest movie ever! I fell asleep somewhere in the first hour…didn’t even bother watching the second movie.

The Christmas challenge

It’s just 25 days away from Christmas day!!! Amazing!! I can’t believe it!

I didn’t know what to post next but I got an idea from another blogger so I’m going to take part in their challenge of answering questions about Christmas. Check out her blog to see what her answers are at http://kellieodonoghue.wordpress.com/2014/12/02/the-christmas-tag/

1. What is your favorite Christmas Film?

I love the movie Elf. It’s a Christmas comedy that you have to watch. When it first snows my family always watches How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We also watch Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer as well. My dad always quotes the lines before the characters talk. It’s kind of funny!

2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

Yes! Quite a few years ago our street and yard were covered with snow pretty high. On Christmas day, my dad and some of the neighbors had to even take out their tractors and plows to clear the street.

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

With family…duh! How could you spend your Christmas without family. That honesty is the best part about Christmas. For some years, we have up to 20 family members for Christmas. Although, one of my cousins boyfriend has over 200 people at their Christmas party – So that’s got to be kind of crazy!

4. What is your favorite Christmas Song?

I have a couple but I love the tune of this song. It Snowed- Tobymac. All rights go to Tobymac.

Also, you don’t hear Christmas rap a lot but I found this song as well. Gotta know a bit of Spanish as well.

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

I used to. My sister and I used to open up one present – usually clothes or PJ’s. It seemed like every year we got PJ’s. We grew a lot when we were younger. 🙂

6. Can you name all of Santa’s Reindeer?

The real question is can you? If you would have said Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon, Comet and Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph then you would be correct.

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

Watching Christmas movies and hanging out with family. There are so many traditions that my family has – can’t name them all.

8. Is your tree Real or Fake?

We used to have a fake tree but some guy gave us a couple of Christmas trees to plant in our yard. We did and the last couple of years, we’ve been using those trees.

9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

Lindor chocolates! I love those! If you haven’t seen my past post, check it out! https://whatiliketodobysteve.wordpress.com/2014/11/16/obsessed-with-lindor-truffles-is-a-good-thing/

10.  Do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I love both. I’ve gotten some really cool gifts but I also like to see people get my gifts. I’ve made some pretty cool gifts out of wood that people love!

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

My favorite bought gift has been my laptop. I think you would all agree or I wouldn’t be able to blog!

My favorite made gift came from my dad last year. I think it’s really cool how he made it! Jesus and the two kids are sticking out of the wood-frame. Took him weeks to make it and it means a lot!

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

I know a lot of people say New York but I would want to experience Christmas in a whole new way. So probably somewhere in Europe. I watched a segment of the travel show of Rick Steves and it showed quite a few places to go for Christmas and it was amazing!

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

Putting the present in the box, I’m a pro at but I’m just okay at present wrapping. Have me wrap your presents at your own risk! 😛

14. Most memorable Holiday moment?

When all of the family were here, we just had the most amazing time! It’s hard to explain but it was the most fun I’ve ever had – especially with my cousins.

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

Well, actually my sister was the problem. She was the one who first thought that the Easter bunny wasn’t real for the bunny was wearing tenny shoes. I didn’t care since I got candy. 😛 So one Christmas I was in bed already sleeping and my sister went in my room and told me that she saw our grandpa carrying a big box of Legos…then I got really excited and couldn’t sleep. Anyway, the next morning they said that Santa got us the Legos. Liars!!!! From then on, I’ve been spreading the message that Santa isn’t real to young kids far and wide! Not really! It’s a fun fantasy for them! You would think parents would want all the glory of the presents they’ve bought for their kids.

16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I did make one last year. I said I wasn’t going to have Spaghetti or pasta for the whole year…Did you read my About Page??? Then you would know that I hate pasta so it was quite easy so far. Still have a whole month left to go!

Hope you enjoyed this and I would love to know what you would answer to all of these questions. If you do a blog post with all of these questions, make sure you send me the link to the post!

Have a great 25 days of Christmas!

Peace Out!

My Thanksgiving and Black Friday!

Well I had an amazing Thanksgiving day and I hope you did as well!

However, I didn’t get to sleep in as long as I wanted. I’m in this bad habit where I wake up a 6:00 A.M. every morning and I don’t get to sleep until late at night. All I can say is that I’m always constantly sleepy. It’s a pain when I’m sleepy but I can’t sleep. So I usually start to read a book and then immediately fall asleep.

However, my breakfast was amazing as normal! I’m not going to go into all of the details because I don’t want you guys to feel badly but it was amazing! The bacon was amazing! I like bacon crispy but not burnt.

Here’s a funny routine by a comedian, Jim Gaffigan, on bacon.

Then we got together with family and my uncle made nachos. I don’t know if that’s really a traditional food for Thanksgiving but I don’t care because it was amazing! I feel like I’m saying “amazing” a lot but food is amazing! It really is! Imagine if humans didn’t need food as an energy and we just got fuel for our bodies from breathing for example. That would be absolutely boring!

Since the slight theme of this blog is bacon, do you guys like water chess nuts wrapped around bacon?

My uncle always likes to get the biggest turkey possible. It was incredibly hard to get into the oven! For some reason, my parents decided to try to raise turkeys one year… notice I say “try” because it was very different. They were extremely big! A lot of the times it’s hard to kill animals but I had no remorse when killing those two turkeys. Oh yeah, we got two turkeys… double trouble! DON’T TRY TO RAISE TURKEYS!! I warned you!!

The rest of the day we relaxed and watched football. We also watched a couple of funny videos on Youtube.

There is a bit of language in this video.

Black Friday:

Honestly, I would love to go shopping on this day and get a 50″ tv because I really need that in my room. However, family doesn’t want to wake up early and take me there. I definitely don’t want to drive since it’s crazy. You honesty see the worst in people on this day – the greed and the possession of items that drive them to be quite batty and ignorant. Pretty sure someone shot someone and wounded another person to get a person. So sad!

Black Friday is also known as National Buy Nothing day. Either someone didn’t get the memo of what Black Friday was all about or he or she was trying to clear out the competition.

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is just a few days away!

First of all, not all of you may know why we Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. The most familiar story of the first Thanksgiving took place in Plymouth colony where the pilgrims thanked God for blessing them. No, kids didn’t get off from school back then (it was much tougher times back then) until President Abraham Lincoln (I knew I liked him for more than one reason) declared the final Thursday in November as a national day of thanksgiving. However, Congress was slow on the job since they waited to make Thanksgiving Day an official nation holiday in 1941.

Fun Facts: The AAA Travel projects 46.3 million Americans will journey 50 miles or more from home during the Thanksgiving weekend. This would be the highest volume for the hoiday. That isn’t me. Stay at home!

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Minnesota is the top turkey-producing state in America.

The National Turkey Federation…whoa, wait, and what? There is such a thing as a National Turkey Federation??? Anyway, they estimated that 46 million turkeys are eaten at Thanksgiving.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the largest pumpkin pie ever baked weighed was 2,020 and measured just over 12 feet long.

My Thanksgiving:

Enough of the facts for now. What are my Thanksgivings like, you ask? Hmm… they are what I like to call relaxing. I get to sleep in and have a marvelous breakfast that my mom cooks. We usually have eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and cinnamon rolls. All of those foods I am greatly thankful for.

I also watch plenty of football. The big game this Thanksgiving is the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers. Get the popcorn out!

We usually get together with family and watch some movie or show. We also seem to watch videos of comedians on Youtube.

The weird thing is that for every Thanksgiving, I feel pumped up for eating lots of pumpkin pie and turkey but I never do. It’s like my stomach says “no”, you can’t eat more. This is not a great feeling but I listen to it or there might be problems.

What I am thankful for:

I’m thankful for a lot of things.

1. For having a pretty sane family. That is extremely important to me.

2. For not being forced to eat foods that I don’t like. Actually, one of my older adult friends hates pumpkin pie. He says that his version of Hell would be if he had to eat pumpkin pie every moment. He also said that about coffee. I would love to see the expression on your faces. You’re like, “WHAT KIND OF FRIENDS DOES HE HAVE!” That’s a good question. Notice I didn’t say that I have sane friends.  Well, I guess most of them are sane.

3. Thankful that others have a gift for making music so I don’t have to.

4. For the good entertainment that Hollywood hasn’t ruined.

What are your thankful for? If you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, what holiday is the closest? What is your favorite memory and food to have on Thanksgiving?
